Betty, Janie and Family,
We were saddened to hear about the passing of Frank. He was a true gentleman and a fun person to be around. He was such a hard worker and devoted to promoting agricultural causes throughout his carer. He is also admired for his tireless efforts in promoting co-ops and serving on the board of Allied Grape Growers. My father (Robert C. McInturf) and Frank were such good friends over the years having many stimulating and satisfying conversations over the years. They were always encouraging one another even in the difficult times and there were plenty of difficult years.
We pray that you will draw closer as a family in the next few months to support each other during this trying time. We were sorry that we could not attend the graveside service or the reception at the ElksLodge in Fresno. I (Stan) had major back surgery on January 5th, 2018 (doing well thanks) and am still recovering. We had just arrived in Carmel celebrating our 43rd anniversary on February 8th when Nat from Allied Grape Growers called with the sad news. We just could not make the roundtrip on Saturday as we had to drive to San Diego on Sunday for a doctors appointment on Monday. Too many miles with my recovering back.
We will continue to pray for healing as you mourn your loss. Would love to hear from any of you in the future. Again condolences to the family on your loss.
