Betty Roes, age 82, a native of Bakersfield, CA, former resident of Salinas, CA and Arroyo Grande, CA and a resident of Madera, CA for the past 30 years, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Madera. She was a homemaker for 60 years. Betty loved working with children; whether it be teaching your children in Sunday school, being a teacher’s aid or serving food.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 2002; daughter Roberta and brother Jack.

Betty is survived by her 3 sons: Frank Roes of Dos Palos, CA; Casey Roes of Reno, NV and Chad Roes of Madera. CA. 1 daughter: Robin Clarke of Volcano, CA and 2 sisters: Dixie Leach of Madera, CA and Cherie Lewis of Clovis, CA. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera. Funeral Service will be Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Jay Chapel. Interment will follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
