So sorry to hear of Sam's death in the prime of his life. I cannot imagine the grief you are experiencing but know that you have family and friends who will try to offer you comfort in this difficult time. Just wanted you to know that we are thinking of you.

Oh, how my heart aches for your family and my Niece. At this time I can not find the words to comfort your family. I do know and believe that our God (Savior) will bring you much comfort and peace with the Love and support that each of us can give you. I know Sam is the Love, Joy and Happiness, brought into my Nieces life. I send hugs across the miles.

I just read about the recent death of Sam, way too soon and I know you, Tanlynn and the Barnes family and loved ones have saddened hearts today. So I wanted to share beautiful scripture where our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18), promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25, Acts 24:15, Job 14:14-15) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 34:18

I have very fond memories of Sam during his youth. During my son’s most impressionable years, Sam befriended Daniel and always made him welcome and appreciated. Sam introduced him to camping, biking, and off-reading while they were scouts. Sam’s patience, kindness, and example helped shape my son to become the man he is today. He will be sorely missed, and I thank God for having had the privilege of being his friend. May God bless us all as we grieve and heal.

I love you Sam. Know that Danica, Katrina, and Justin are all in disbelief. Can't quite wrap their minds around what happened. You will always be a part of us. Our sadness is immense. We love you.
