Joshua E. Stoetzl passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the age of 22 He was born in Fresno CA on April 25, 1995 to Kurt and Rebecca Stoetzl. Joshua worked and ran the Stoetzl Ranch in Madera Ca. He was a graduate of Madera High South, Class of 2013. Joshua was actively involved in praying for those in need and an active member of St. Joachim Catholic Church.
Joshua was known for his straight forwardness, honesty and integrity. His word and his hand shake meant everything to him. Whether it was business or at the lake, he had the ability to make people feel at ease. Joshua was preparing to enter the Navy and his goal was to become part of the Seal community. He will be missed by many.
His grandparents, Ralph and Allouise Stoetzl, along with Uncle David Baca, preceded Joshua in death. He is survived by his parents Kurt and Rebecca Stoetzl of Madera, his grandparents, Sarah and Edward Baca of Madera, Bonnie Stoetzl of Gilroy Ca. Joshua also leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Priscilla and Cesario Gonzalez, Mark Stoetzl of Everett, WA, Michael and Sally Baca, Edward Baca Jr. and Terry Baca all of Madera and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. followed by a Recitation of the Rosary, 7:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, CA
