Kathleen Louise Dill

Kathleen L. Dill was born on November 26, 1949 in Fresno, Ca to Gerald and Doris McCarty. She passed away from cancer on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her home in Oakhurst, Ca.

Kathy attended Madera schools and was a graduate of Madera High, class of 1967. After graduation, she moved to San Francisco to pursue a career as a medical assistant. While in San Francisco she volunteered at the USO where she met her future husband, Bert Dill. They would have celebrated their 50th anniversary on October 11th. After they married they made their home in the San Diego area. Following retirement, they moved to Oakhurst in 2015.

Kathy was a member of Oakhurst Lutheran Church and a volunteer at the Oakhurst Library.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father G.L. “Mac” McCarty.

Kathy is survived by her husband Bert, daughter Stephanie and her husband David Walker of Nederland, TX, son Patrick Dill of Alexandria, VA, mother Doris McCarty of Madera, brother Dennis and his wife Joan McCarty of Hayden, ID, sister Geri and her husband David Brown of Madera, as well as five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on her birthday, November 26, 2019 at 11am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1125 N. Lake Street, Madera, CA.
