Betty Lou Hale, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away on Friday Morning, June 14, 2019 at Madera Community Hospital. Betty a native Californian has been a resident of Madera for 31 years where she was a homemaker. In recent years she had been a resident at Cedar Creek Retirement Community in Madera before transitioning to the Chowchilla Skilled Nursing Facility when additional care and attention became necessary. A devoted Christian she was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior and nurtured that in her children.
In addition to her parents Harry and Stella Loy, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Clifford Hale in 2016 and by her sister Geraldine Rowe.
Betty is survived by her children, William “Bill” Hale and his wife Susan of Clovis, California and her daughter Marilyn Barnes and her husband Kevin of Madera.
She is the cherished grandmother of 4 and great grandmother of 9.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera. A Private Family service will be held at a later date.
