Ygnacio Alfaro Cazares

Ygnacio Alfaro Cazares passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on the morning of June 8, 2022 at the age of 90. Ygnacio was born October 21, 1931 in Michoacan Mexico to Elias Cazares and Ana Maria Cazares.

Ygnacio migrated to California to search for a better life for him and his family.  Ygnacio ended up in Madera, CA where he met and fell in love with his wife Guadalupe. Ygnacio worked for the lumber industry for 40 plus years.

Ygnacio enjoyed his ranch life style, livestock.  He loved being around family and cooking his famous carnitas.

Proceeded him in death are his sons, Mario Cazares and Louis Cazares and two unborn children.

Ygnacio is survived by his children Joseph Cazares of Arizona, Elias Cazares of Clovis, Cecilia Smith and her husband Denis of Sonora, Derek Cazares and his wife Shannon of Fresno, Victoria Cazares-Pajarillo and Frank of Madera, Virginia Cazares of Madera, Robert Cazares and his wife Joya of Clovis.  He had 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild, as well as, many nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own. 

Ygnacio was truly loved by all that knew him, he will be truly missed.

Visitation and Recitation of the Rosary will be, Wednesday, June 22, 2022, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Followed by Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

Mass of Christian Burial celebrated, Thursday, June 23, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, CA 93637
