Mr Truman Dunn

Truman Dunn, age 80, a native of Mesa, AZ and a resident of Madera, CA for 70 years, passed away peacefully at his home Friday, May 29, 2020 from a brief illness. He was an agricultural truck driver for 4 years. After an accident that ended his driving career, he worked on his farm. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Forrest and Lucy Dunn. 9 brothers: Jewel “Joe” Dunn, Alfred Dunn, Edwin Dunn, Doyle Dunn, Gerald Dunn, Melvin Dunn, Kenneth Dunn, Bobbie Dunn and Raymond Dunn and his only sister, Evelyn Dunn.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Veryl Dunn of Madera, CA. 2 sons: James M. Dunn and his wife Elizabeth and William J. Dunn all of Madera, CA. Truman was also the caring grandfather to Phillip Dunn of Madera, CA and Sarah Dunn also of Madera, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Optimal Hospice for their remarkable care and all family and friends who have been supportive during these difficult times.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Jay Chapel in Madera.
