Thomas Eugene Moore was born on November 5, 1927 to William Andrew and Hester Hambrick Moore in Annadarko, Oklahoma. He passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Fresno, California after a lengthy illness.
He served in the U.S. Army, and was stationed in the Philippines just after World War II. He lived in Madera County most of his adult life and worked for the Pitman family at both Pitman Farms and Valley Grain Drier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and three of his children, Myra Jean, Robert Allen, and Roger Lee. He is survived by his wife of almost 69 years, Jewell L. Moore, sister Mary Hickingbottom, daughter Laura Ricketts and husband Butch, daughter-in-law Joey Keys Arthur, three granddaughters and one great grandson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 2 PM to 8 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera. A Graveside Service will be on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
