Ted Kutz, Jr., passed away at home in Madera on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the age of 91.  He was born in Sykeston, North Dakota on June 28, 1926 and a resident of Madera for 47 years.  Ted worked as a Service Manager for Midland Tractor for many years.  Prior to that, he worked for a John Deere Tractor dealership in North Dakota.  He was a member of the Madera Elks Lodge.  Ted enjoyed gardening, loved to can his home grown crops, and make jelly.  He especially loved to spend time with his family.  
 
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian in 2015, his daughter-in-law, Cindy Kutz in 2014, his son-in-law, Richard Low in 2009, his granddaughter, Cheryl Low, two brothers, and one sister.
 
Ted is survived by his two sons, Loren Kutz and Jody Kutz and his wife Julie, both of Madera, his three daughters, Jill Low of Buckeye, Arizona, Jackie Jones of Madera, and Janis Cobb and her husband Gary of Chowchilla, his two brothers, Leonard Kutz and Wilbur Kutz both of North Dakota, three sisters, Beverly Linafelter of Arizona, Amelia Boettcher of Minnesota, and Sandy Paulson of Arizona.  He also leaves behind ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
 
Visitation will be held on: Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA
 
Graveside Service will be on: Friday, January 12, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, CA
