Thelma Elsie Rubio

Thelma Elsie Rubio, 92 a native of San Diego, California and a life resident of Madera passed away April 27, 2021. She was born to Joe and Enriqueta Parma Lopez and soon after moved to Madera. Thelma worked as an instructional aid for Madera Unified School District for 25 years and was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church.

Thelma was preceded by her Husband Lazaro B. Rubio. She is survived by her Children, Sonny Rubio and his wife Mercy of Clovis, CA, David Rubio and his wife Cindy of Alaska, Linda Garza and Fred of Madera, Sylvia Rubio of Madera, her Sister, Carmen Gallegos of Madera. Thelma also leaves behind her beloved, 13 grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

Graveside services will be Friday, May 7, 2021 at 10:00 am at Calvary Cemetery in the covered Arbor Area.
