Susan Melendez Green
September 13, 1960 – June 17, 2021

Susan, (Suzy) as everyone called her, passed into the arms of Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior on June 17, 2021.

Suzy loved her children with all her mind, body, and soul. Ready or not Suzy gave hugs and kisses. If you, have ever been blessed to have a hug and kiss from her, then you know what love feels like and what it is like to come home. Suzy was a best friend to her brother and all her sister’s, whom she called sissy. Everyone always came to her for advice, love, and companionship. Suzy also loved Maui and anywhere near a beach.
Most of her life, Suzy worked in retail. Starting in the grape fields (which she hated and tried everything to get out of), at the Bridge store, Robert’s Jewelers, The Pawn shop and most recently, Omnis Benefit Plan Administrators. Suzy helped many people financially and always helped in any other way that she could. Suzy worked hard all her life and suffered through the pain to continue working.

Suzy is no longer in pain, and she will be joined in Heaven by her beloved Smokey & Anya, all who loved her and those of us who will see her again. We are better for knowing her and for being loved by her.

Suzy is survived by her beloved son, Garret Adam Green and her cherished daughter, Danielle Suzanne Green. Her parents, Luis and Helen Melendez, her brother Mario, and her sisters, Marylou, Margaret, and Monica.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, 9:30 a.m. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA
Interment to follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, CA
