Sal Gallegos

Sal Gallegos, age 74, of Madera, passed away on Sept. 26th at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Sal was born in Pleasanton TX. to Pole and Carmen Gallegos on May 31st 1945. He went to school in Madera. He married Patricia (Young) Gallegos on December 6th1969 in Las Vegas. He worked for Madera Irrigation District for over 30 years. In is spare time he loved spending time with his family, fishing, and cheering for the LA Dodgers and Dallas Cowboys.

Sal is survived by his wife Patricia Gallegos, his 3 sons; David (Patricia) Scott (Melissa), and Kevin (Beth), Grandchildren; Phillip (Chelsea), Morgan, Nick, Morgan, Taylor, Cole, Taytem, Paul and Anthony. Great-grandchildren; Kayden, Brentley, and Carter. Seven brothers and three sisters.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Pole and Carmen Gallegos, brother Martin Gallegos, and sister Hope Gallegos.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Bursey, Danny Rodriguez, Doug Sordi, Randy Berry, Bryan Crafton and Paul Vizcarra.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 4th 10am at the Arbor Vitae Cemetery outdoor atrium with Father Shaji Athipozhi of St. Joachim officiating. Burial will follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jay Chapel.
