Mrs Seferina Marmolejo Flores

Seferina M. Flores Passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Fresno at the age of 92. She was born in Euclid, Minnesota on February 21, 1929 to Francisco Marmolejo and Anastacia Gomez Marmolejo. Seferina was a resident of Madera for 80 years and the last 3 years she has been living in Clovis.

She was a Certified Nurse’s Aide working at the Westgate Manor Convalescent, for over 40 years. She attended Madera schools and Madera High School. Seferina was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church, the V.F.W. Women’s Auxiliary Post 1981 and the PanAm Club in Madera.

Seferina was preceded in death by three sons, Martin, Danny Boy and Victor, a grandson Micah, six brothers, Eno, Mac, Benny, Joe, Peter, Johnny, two sisters, Tillie and Florence.

She is survived by her children Ben Flores and Carolyn of Clovis, Robert Flores and Susan of Redding, CA, Steve Flores and Rosie of Fresno and Susan Flores of Madera, one sister, Isabel Marquez of Madera, Ten Grandchildren, and Sixteen Great Grandchildren. Seferina also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will start on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jay Chapel.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Madera, CA

Remembrances may be made in Seferina’s name to Alzheimer’s Foundation or Hinds Hospice.
