Sarah Jean Quigley

SARAH JEAN (SCHOETTLER) QUIGLEY passed away at home in Raymond, California on June 2, 2019 at 38 years old from carbon monoxide poisoning while she was napping in their motorhome. She was born on March 27, 1981 in Madera, CA the daughter of Tim Schoettler and Paula Jones Duclo.

Sarah was married to Brandon Johnson (later divorced) and they had one son Dillon Johnson. She married to James Quigley and they have two sons, Seth and Adam.

Sarah lived in Madera most her life except for a few years when she and James were first married and they lived in Utah. Sarah, James spent the last couple of years exploring the States while home schooling their kids, Seth and Adam. Sarah worked in Electrophysiology as a Registered Nurse and was employed by Bio Sense Webster up until 2016. As a Registered Nurse she helped Physicians during procedures for Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation. She was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Sarah never met a stranger and she had a very pure and sweet heart.

Sarah is survived by her husband James Quigley, three sons Dillon Johnson, Seth and Adam Quigley, father Timothy B. Schoettler and mother Paula S. Duclo (Jones, Schoettler, Wilson). Sarah has one brother Thomas P. Schoettler, and three sisters Samantha S. Wilson (Bob Wilson and Paula Duclo’s daughter), Abby and Emily Schoettler (Tim Schoettler and Lori ‘s daughters). She is also survived by several grandparents: Ila Schoettler, and Joyce and Paul Jones.


Sarah is loved my many and will be miss very much on this earth. We are only here together for a short time. Love you forever! Until we all will meet again.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 49967 Rd. 427, Oakhurst, Ca 93644.
