Samuel Pimentel Hernandez

Samuel PImentel Hernandez passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Madera at the age of 88. He was born in El Camiche, Michoacán, Mexico on December 23, 1932 to Victorino Hernandez and Esperanza Pimentel Hernandez. Samuel spent many years in Chowchilla and for the last 55 years he has been a resident of Madera. He worked as a Farm Laborer for 60 years. Samuel was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera.

Samuel is survived by his wife of 71 years, Eloisa Hernandez, his children, Margarita Sanchez, Samuel Hernandez, Jr., Martha Maciel, Hector Hernandez, Aurora Barriga, Esperanza Hernandez, Matilde Hernandez and Raul Hernandez. He also leaves behind 29 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Jay Chapel, Monday, October 4, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Monday, October 4, 2021, 6:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a interment at Calvary Cemetery, Madera, CA
