Salvador Bedoya

Mr. Salvador G. Bedoya Sr., age 88, a native of Guanajuato, Mexico and a resident of Madera, for 53 years, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his Madera home. He retired from the wine industry. Salvador was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Sociedad Guadalupana, St. Vincent De Paul. Salvador also enjoyed coaching Little League baseball; he was a little league baseball coach for the V.F.W. team.

He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Daphne Bedoya and Joshua Bedoya.

Salvador is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carmen Bedoya of Madera, his one son, Sal E. Bedoya Jr. and his wife Kersten, and one daughter, Angie Bedoya. Salvador is also survived by his four grandchildren, Alan, Emily, Eden and Emmy and two great-grandchildren, Ezekiel and Oliver.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 pm at Jay Chapel in Madera.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on: Friday, October 12, 2018, 11:00 am at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
