Ruth L Lee

Ruth L. Lee passed away in Modesto, CA, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the age of 78. Ruth was born in Madera on December 5, 1939 to George and Willie Price. She worked as a cook for Madera Unified School District for 10 years. Ruth was a missionary and a member of the Pentecostal Church. On December 6, 1957, Ruth married Henry Ovell Lee and they shared 57 years together until his passing on February 11, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Melvin Price and Willie Lee Hogan, and her husband, Henry Lee in 2015.

Ruth is survived by her four sons, Freddie Lee, Johnny Ray Lee and Patrick Lee, Greggory Todd Lee, her four daughters, Sandra Lee and Pamela Lee, Janine Moses, and Patricia Harris, her brothers, David and Keith Brown and her sisters, Pauline Phoenix and Rosemary Coles. Ruth also leaves behind her grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018, 9:00 A.M. at Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, CA
