Wayne Moles

R. Wayne Moles 11/15/32 – 3/21/21

Our family is deeply saddened that our precious husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend to many has accepted the call to join his precious Lord and Savior to his heavenly home. He was born in Belton, Missouri to Ruey and Myrtle Moles. His family moved to California in 1943 and he graduated from Campbell High School in 1950.

In 1951, he married his high school sweetheart, Darlene Moles. Wayne served in the U.S. Air force in 1951-1953 teaching Radio Communications. In 1954 he was employed by Mink and Co. Real Estate. Two years later, Moles joined Surety Title and Insurance Company and two years later was promoted to Branch Manager. In 1960 he was hired by Donald L. Stone Homes as land acquisition and development manager. At age 32 he was promoted to the President of the company.

A visionary, Wayne launched a number of other companies including CalStar Capital Corporation and built both homes and commercial buildings in Chowchilla. He was a founding member of Trinity Pregnancy Resource Center in Chowchilla and a member of Gideons International. His greatest joy was his three children, Stephen Moles, Danielle Newell and Lynette Moles. In addition he was blessed with 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, as Wayne and Darlene recently celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary.

A Memorial in-person service will be held on Monday, April 12 at 2:00 pm at Cornerstone Community Church at 208 Fig Tree Rd in Chowchilla. Also, live streaming will be available to those unable to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial gifts to Gideons International or Trinity Pregnancy Resource Center in Chowchilla.
