Ruby Jane Romeri

Ruby Jane Romeri was born to Wilburn and Edna Lee Worley in Lebanon, TN on August 5, 1935 and passed away in Fresno, CA on September 16, 2020 at the age of 85.

Ruby graduated from Lebanon High School and upon graduation, she came to Madera to visit relatives. She decided to stay and got a job as a Waitress at Berenda Ranch Restaurant where she met the love of her life, Lino Romeri. The married in 1967, honeymooned in Hawaii. They just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.

Ruby enjoyed cooking and was an excellent homemaker. She loved people and made many friends, especially in Pismo Beach where they spent summers for over 30 years. Ruby was spunky, fun loving, and full of laughter. She will be greatly missed.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Lino Romeri, daughters Tammy Dodson and Linda Matthews and granddaughters, Jaimie Matthews and Amanda Matthews

Visitation will be held at Jay Chapel, Tuesday, September 22, 2020, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Arbor Vitae Cemetery, September 23, 2020 at 2:00 pm.

Remembrances may be made in Ruby’s name to American Cancer Society, 2222 W Shaw Ave #201, Fresno, CA 93711
