Obituary for Ruby Burleson

Ruby Jewel Burleson, 96 a native of Darnell, Ark. and a resident of Madera for 80 years passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2020. She was a member of the Parkesdale Baptist Church and First Southern Baptist Church in Madera.

Ruby was a homemaker but also worked keeping books running farm crews.

She is preceded by her husband Huston in 1994, Daughters, Helen Upton and Billie Jean Chavez, her Brother R.L. Vassaur and Sisters Elsie Summers and Pauline Frazel.

Ruby is survived by her children: Doug Burleson and his wife Barbara of Great Falls, MT, Harvey and his wife Judy Burleson, Jo Ann Foster and Linda Nelson and her husband Robert all of Madera, CA. Her Brother Fred Vassaur of Madera and George Vassaur of Clear Lake, CA.

12 Grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 16 Great - Great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 at Jay Chapel from 4-8 pm.

Graveside Services will be at Arbor Vitae Cemetery 11:00 am Friday, September 18, 2020.
