Mr Ronald Edward Green

Ronald (Ron) Edward Green, 70, of Madera, California, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2021, of heart complications.
 
He was born to James and Jewel Green in Merced on June 24, 1950.  He graduated from Stagg High School in Stockton and moved to Fresno where he met his wife Diane while attending Fresno State, clearly the best decision ever.  
 
Ron was a man who wore many hats. Not only was he a junior high teacher and coach in Madera Unified for 22 years, he also spent his free time coaching Little League in Madera Ranchos. Some of his best stories came from the 30 years spent playing on a men’s softball team.  
 
He took great pride in maintaining his Madera Ranchos property and helping his children with household projects. He was passionate about many things in life, including; cars, classic rock, politics, and being a proud papa to his grandchildren. Ron will most be remembered for his selflessness and humor.
 
Ron is survived by his wife of 47 years, Diane; their children; Sara (Brad) and Matt (Jessica); and grandchildren, Trevor, Kylie, and Addison. In addition, he is survived by his mother and 3 siblings.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Valley Children’s Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held by immediate family.
