Mr Roger Franklin Bowlin

Roger Franklin Bowlin died peacefully at home on March 26, 2019, surrounded by close friends. Roger was born in Madera, California on January 31, 1954 to Clarence and Lola Bowlin. He attended local schools and enlisted in the Navy after high school where he was honorably discharged in 1975. Roger grew up working with his parents at the Bowlin Store just a few yards from where they lived. He also worked for many years at United Rentals.

Roger was a kind and generous man and a friend to many. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lola Bowlin.

Sincere gratitude to his friends, Jack Ogletree, Stacey Major, and Chris Luna, who cared for him in his final year, to the emergency room staff at Madera Community Hospital, and to St. Mary’s Hospice who comforted him in his final days.

The graveside service will be held at Arbor Vitae Cemetery on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
