Robert Fernando Ragnetti

Robert “Bob” Ragnetti, age 100, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Madera. Bob was born on Madera on February 28, 1919 to Augusto and Claudia Ragnetti in Madera, Ca. Bob worked for Oberti Olives for over 50 years, and was the “go to man” for getting any job done. Throughout his time there, he had learned every area of the operation, and always had the answer on how to get the job done right if anyone needed his help. Bob was also a member of the Italo-American Clun here in Madera in his earlier years. Bob was an avid San Francisco 49er’s fan, enjoyed taking naps in his chair, and also loved to dry and can foods for his family to enjoy throughout the year.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Edith “Irene” Ragnetti, and all of his siblings: Tony Ragnetti, Johnny Ragnetti, Frank Ragnetti, Armon Ragnetti, Annie Bacchetti, Emma Larsen, and Lena Debo.

Bob is survived by his two sons Wayne and his wife Carole Ragnetti of Fresno and Gary and his wife Joquetta Ragnetti of Bakersfield. Bob also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
