Rickey Wayne Holt was born in Tulare, CA on August 29, 1953 and passed on Monday, January 29, 2018. Rick was a resident of Madera for 60 years.

He worked for PG&E for 35 years where he retired as an Electrical T&D Supervisor and continued to work as an Electric Inspector for Canus Corp. until his passing. He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed riding horses, hunting, fishing, watching westerns and bull riding, and telling his life stories to his family. He was also a member of Madera Classic Cars and served as a lineman in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents TJ and Loretta Holt and his step-children Brian Gendron and Charlene Gendron. He is survived by his wife Linda Kaye Holt, siblings, Roger Holt, Sherri Johnson, Tammy Childress, children, Jaime Holt, Jack Holt, and Trisha Keeney, grandchildren, Joshua Gibbs, Gabriel Bargas, Ashlee Gibbs, Thomas Yeargain, Alexis Gibbs, Jillian Green, Jason Green, Levi Holt, Jody Holt, and greatgrandchild, Grayson Gibbs.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Jay Chapel in Madera. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. Interment will follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
