Elder Ramon Symon Sr.
We celebrate the community and ecclesiastical service of Elder Ramon Symon Sr. The service he so faithfully rendered began in 2003 to the present. He has served as teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, administrator, community outreach liaison, deacon, minister, adjutant, elder and assistant pastor.
He has developed and supported various ministries; Simpson Temple C.O.G.I.C., New Life C.O.G.I.C., Christ Unity Missionary Baptist Church, Westside Neighborhood C.O.G.I.C., and currently at True Life C.O.G.I.C. He has won many souls to Christ and has been instrumental in developing a great men’s ministry. His compassion for those whom have been set aside in society resulted in his development of ministry homes where he ministered the love of Christ nourishing souls with love, food, education, and shelter.
His love of life is reflected in his love for family, his loving wife Sannette Symon, five children and a host of grandchildren. He takes pride in being a loving, caring and provisional husband, father and grandfather. He epitomizes the character of a man of God, always teaching, preaching and making the word of God practical to others.
Today we celebrate a general in God’s army with all the gratitude, accolades and prestige that an officer is due.
