Patronilo M Romero

Patronilo “Pat” M. Romero (Uncle Pat), age 89, passed away on Saturday November 6, 2021 in Madera, Ca.
“Pat” was born in Monrovia, California later to relocate to Madera in 1943 where he has resided until his passing. He served in the military during the Korean War and returning to Madera went to work as a Boiler Operator at the then Mission Bell Winery where his career spanned 46 years before retiring in 1996 from the winery operation. In his leisure time Pat enjoyed spending time in his garden.

He was married to his wife Lily Peralta Romero for 53 years until her death in 2013. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, by a brother Phillip Romero, and sisters Mary Hernandez and Charlotte Cordova.

Pat is survived by a son John Romero and his wife Gloria of Tulare, Ca, and by his sisters, Jessie Arbalo of Madera and Mildred Savala of Madera, Ca. He is the beloved grandfather of 3 and great grandfather of 5.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 2 to 6 PM at Jay Chapel. Recitation of the Rosary will be on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11:30 AM at St. Joachim Catholic Church followed by the Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
