Ola Mae Agee

Tribute

Ola Agee was born on October 26, 1919 in Grand Cane, Louisiana to Ida Adams and Henry Lee.

Ola received her education in Mansfield, LA. She was employed in the Nursing field for many years until she retired from Madera Convalescent Hospital. Ola met a young man in the United States Army, Leo Agee, whom she became friends with and later married after he was discharged in the early 1940’s.

Ola was a member of the Hull Avenue Church of Christ in God in Madera for many years.

Ola was preceded in death by her parents Ida Adams and Henry Lee, her husband Leo Agee Sr., two sons Leroy Agee and Billy Gene Agee, five sisters Lilly Price, Betsy Hall, Ella Mucker, Georgia Fuller and Ruth Malone, and three brothers Frank Lee, Robert Lee and William Lee.

Ola is survived by her two sons Leo Agee of Los Angeles and Alvin Charles Agee of Memphis, Tennessee, two daughters Mary Ann Agee of Madera and Beverly Joyce Agee of Sacramento, daughter-in-law Amey Agee, and one sister Bertha and her husband Willie Green of Fresno. Ola also leaves behind two grandchildren Jovan and his wife Tranisha Agee of Sacramento and Leo Agee III of Los Angeles, and four great-grandchildren Alkwon Agee, Jola Agee, Olivia Agee and Brooklyn Agee all of Sacramento, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera.

Interment immediately following at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
