Nellie Paradones Hernandez

Nellie Paradones Hernandez was born in Fresno County, on October 7, 1925 to Josefina and Santiago Paradonas.  At the age of two, her family moved to Madera where she attended St Joachim Catholic School and graduated from Madera High School.  Nellie spent her life as a homemaker caring for her family and home. Nellie will be remembered for being a historian with amazing stories of her family and neighborhood who she loved dearly. 

Nellie is preceded in death by her parents Josefina and Santiago Paradones, her husband Alfonso Hernandez, son Alfonso Hernandez Jr and grandson Steven Hernandez.  She is survived by the loves of her life, her sons, Manuel Hernandez and his wife Maria, daughter in law Rosie Hernandez, Grandsons Richard, Manuel and his wife Susi, Trisha and her husband Dave, Great grandchildren Justin, Eric, Brooklynn, and Brynlee, Marcela, and Sofia, Megan and Hannah .

Visitation will be held at Jay Chapel on Tuesday September 14, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. 
The Rosary will be held on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at St Joachim Church at 10:30 a.m. followed by and Mass at 11:00 a.m. also at St. Joachim Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Remembrances may be made in Nellie’s name to St. Joachim Catholic Church and the Guadalupana Society, Madera, CA
