Nellie Correa

Nellie was born in Selma, Ca on June 17, 1927 to Ralph and Delphina Landeros of Madera. She passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Madera.

Nellie met the love of her Vincent Correa and married on August 10, 1947. In 1979 she became a Teachers Aid at Washington Elementary School. She loved working with children and retired after 25 years.

In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Correa, her sons, Michael Correa and Vincent Correa Jr., her siblings, Frances Law, Dolores Turri, Gloria Perez, Frank Landeros, Rosie Fernandez, Ralph Landeros and his son Ralph Landeros Jr. and his wife Cathy.

She is survived by her daughter Rachel Correa Castro, and by her son Ron Correa both of Madera. She is the sister of Raymond Landeros of Madera, Tulie Landeros of Visalia, Ca, Lucy Mezon of Reedley and Betty Mora of Idaho. She is the beloved grandmother of Dina Klassen, Michael Klassen, Anita Resendez, Alfred Rodriguez Jr, Nellie Montes, Anthony Castro, Melissa Montes, Matthew Escoto, Marina Correa, Marie Correa, Angela Correa, Lynette Garcia Correa and Ronald Correa Jr. Also surviving are numerous great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 2 PM to 6 PM at Jay Chapel with a prayer service at 4:30 PM.

Recitation of the Rosary will be on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 At 930 AM at St. Joachim Catholic Church followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Interment will be at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
