Nash Ignacio Gurrola

Nash Gurrola, 88, a native and life resident of Madera passed away May 3, 2021. He was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. Nash was a graduate of Fresno High School and received his Associate’s Degree in Criminology at Fresno City College. He worked in the Fresno Juvenile system and Madera County Probation Department.

Nash was preceded by his wife Dorothy, his son Mark, a sister Jessie Bueno and his two brothers Ernie and Arthur Gurrola.

He is survived by his children Greg Gurrola and his wife Lisa, Patti Van Loon and her husband Ben, his daughter-in-law Margie Gurrola all of Madera. He also leaves behind his beloved, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.


Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joachim Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
