Millie Carmella Puma

March 23, 1926 - February 3, 2021

Fresno, California - Millie was born in Fresno, CA where she lived her entire life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Leo Puma, her son Leonard Puma, her son-in-law Harry Pratton and her parents Joseph and Mamie Sant'Agata.

She attended Saint Alphonsus Catholic School and attended Saint John's High School for one year before transferring to Fresno Tech to be with her friends. It was there she became active in drama and performed in many plays.

In 1945 she met the love of her life Leo Puma and they married October 13, 1946. Together they built Puma Construction where she assisted him in daily operations. They attended many community events and in their spare time loved to travel the world with their dear friends.

She was an active member of the Italian Catholic Federation, Fort Washington Country Club Women's Golf Group and the Sigma Chi Fraternity Mothers Club Auxiliary. She loved watching NFL and Notre Dame football games, reading, crocheting, bridge and playing Kings in the Corner with her grandchildren. Most importantly was the love for her family and her devout Catholic Faith. She never missed a Sunday Mass at Saint Anthony of Padua until she was unable to attend she then faithfully watched Holy Spirit Mass on television.

She is the beloved mother of Greg Puma and his wife Sharon, Debra Duckering and her husband Lee and Sandra Pratton, grandmother to Shantel Murphy and her husband Scott, Nick Puma and his wife Kelly, Matt Folmer and his wife Corrine, Crystal Kane and her husband Brendan, Melissa Johndrow and her husband Nick, Ryan Pratton, Kevin Pratton and his wife Cara and Danny Hoffman and his wife Alisa and great-grandmother of twelve.

There will be a private Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial.
