Michael Ybarra Rosel

Michael Y Rosel Sr., age 54, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 in Madera, Ca. Michael was born on April 18, 1966 to Socorro and Antonia Rosel in Madera. He was a Maintenance worker for Madera Unified School District for 27 years. When he wasn’t helping his family and friends with projects around their home, he enjoyed camping, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. Michael was a jack of all trades and truly enjoyed building projects, pouring concrete and enjoying a nice cold beer with his loved ones.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Socorro Rosel.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of over 15 years Sylvia Rosel, his mother Antonia Y. Rosel, his four sons Michael Rosel Jr., Matthew Rosel, Andrew Rosel and Aaron Rosel, his three daughters Patricia Rosel, Melissa Rosel Rubio and Jacquelyn Rosel, his four brothers Joe Rosel, John Rosel, Paul Rosel and David Rosel, and his three sisters Margarita Rosel, Anna Camarena and Laura Flores. Michael also leaves behind his beloved fifteen grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Jay Chapel in Madera.

A Private Family Recitation of the Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held, at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera.

Interment immediately following at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.

CHANGE OF SERVICES.  AS A RESULT OF NEW RULES ISSUED ON 07/14/2020 BY GOVERNOR NEWSOM IMPACTING FUNERALS, THERE IS A MAXIMUM OF 10 IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS ALLOWED INSIDE DURING VISITATION. 
REGULATIONS FOR THE MADERA CEMETERY DISTRICT ALLOW NO MORE THAN 50 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE AT GRAVESIDE SERVICES. PLEASE MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING AND WEAR A FACE MASK DURING PUBLIC GATHERINGS.
