Melba Boyd

Melba Boyd, age 101, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 in Stockton, California. She was born on November 26, 1917 to Joseph Walker Hendrickson and Azzie Hendrickson in McCaulley, Texas. Melba was a resident of Madera and attended Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church before marrying her husband Richard in 1956. Melba and Richard moved to Stockton, Ca, where they have lived for over 39 years. Melba loved to spend her spare time gardening.

Melba was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard M. Boyd, and eight of her siblings: Morgan Hendrickson, Mary Harvey, Kenneth Hendrickson, Donald Hendrickson, John Hendrickson, Elizabeth Hendrickson, Ray Hendrickson, and White Nathaniel (WN) Hendrickson.
Melba is survived by her two sons Richard Boyd and Joseph Boyd both of Stockton, and her sister Mattie Ruth Montgomery of Arizona.

A Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera, Ca.
