Margelene Addison, 98, a native of Sugar Grove, Arkansas and a resident of Madera for 50 years passed away on June 25, 2019 surrounded by her family. Better known as “Margie” by her friends, she was a retired dietician having been employed at Westgate Manor for 20 years. In her free time Margie enjoyed sewing and spending time with her animals and her trips in her RV. She was married to “Avon” Addision for 30 years prior to his passing.
In addition to “Avon” and her parents Isaac and Annie Weaver, she was preceded in death by a daughter Gwen White, and 2 grandsons; Shawn Navarrette, and William “Bill” Reece, and by a sister Johnnie Elias.
Margie is survived by her daughter Jeanie Reece of Madera and Anna McKenzie of Danville, Arkansas. She is the sister of Ronnie Crisp of Lodi, Ca, and Larry Weaver of Tishomingo, OK. She is the beloved “Nanny” of 6 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
