Masaaki Kimura

August 19, 1943 ~ September 11, 2022 (age 79)

Masaaki Kimura 79 was born in Nagasaki, Japan. Masaaki also known by many as “Tata” was known and loved by many people; he was the youngest of three and the only boy in his family. Masaaki enjoyed taking long drives, walks, painting, making and building his sword collection, spending time with his family, he was very creative and loved to be on Facebook and YouTube.

Masaaki was born in 1943; he was 2 years old when Nagasaki was attacked by the atomic bomb in WWII, fortunately his family survived. He was raised and went to school and military school in Sasebo Japan. Masaaki then immigrated to the United States around the age of 25. Masaaki was always a hard worker he worked for Berry Construction as their Landscaper, then later started his own Business, The Landscape Express; he fully retired at the age of 69.

Masaaki was preceded in death by his Father Yonesaburo Kimura, Mother Kikue Kimura, Sister Kimiko, and Sister Takako.

Masaaki survived by his Wife, Blanca Kimura, Daughter Emi Kimura, Son Robert Kimura, Daughter Gracia Kimura and Daughter Yumi Kimura Tiscareno and husband Juan Tiscareno, he also survived by his step daughters Mary Desmond  and Mia Desmond- Richards and their children. He was a loving Grandfather of 10 grandchildren Tobei Jeremiah Kimura-Mathews, Kenji Alecsander Kimura Mathews, Kiarra Kimura-Mathews, Katharina (Kiki) Kimura, Aiden Kintaro Kimura, Hunter Kensei Kimura, Tomoe De la Carmen Miecznikowski, Seiji Jojani Tiscareno, Kenji  Armani Tiscareno, and Kobee Isas Tiscareno, and 1 great Great-granddaughter, Alice Grace Mathews. He leaves behind many Nieces and Nephews. Masaaki was always so loving he would take anyone in and help however he could and make them feel part of the family.

Masaaki was known by his unique sense of humor, and his strong will to live and fight for his life. He was always very positive and very strong-minded. He will be deeply missed not only by his family but everyone who had the pleasure to meet Mr. Masaaki.

On September 11, 2022, he entered into eternal rest. He is at peace and no longer suffering or in pain. Masaaki will always be remembered as someone who is strong and never gave up a fight. We will all feel that void but will forever be in our hearts.

Visitations will be held at Jay Chapel in Madera, CA on September 20, 2022 from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm service will follow from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks and appreciation to his prayer warriors and many supporters over the years, and in so many ways, that gave him strength to continue his journey and will power to keep going.
