Mary Isabel Elliott

Mary I. Elliott, 95, born in San Jose, a native of San Pablo and a long time resident of Firebaugh, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021, at a Fresno Care Facility. Mary was the daughter of Portuguese Immigrants Manuel Miranda and Mary Freitas Miranda. A homemaker she was an active member of First Baptist Church of Firebaugh.

Mary in addition to her parents was preceded in death by her husband Eli Elliott in 2001, by a sister Anne Hatcher, and brothers Manuel Miranda, Tony Miranda and Joe Miranda.

She is survived by her son Melvin Elliott of Firebaugh, by her daughter Sandy Autrey and her husband Rick of Yukon, OK. She is the beloved grandmother of Richelle Nolan and her husband Warren and Heather Autrey and the cherished great grandmother of Zac Nolan and Josh Nolan.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 2 PM to 6 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera. A funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church of Firebaugh followed by burial at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.

Remembrances in Mary's memory may be made to First Baptist Church of Firebaugh or Hinds Hospice.
