Marjorie "Margie" Jones

Marjorie (Margie) Jones passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the age of 87. She was born in San Luis Obispo, CA on June 23, 1934 and raised in San Francisco. She attended St Agnes School and the Academy of the Presentation in San Francisco. In 1953, Margie married Kenneth Jones Sr. at St. Agnes Church in Pinedale, CA. To this union they were blessed with four children. She was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister, a Lector and Bereavement Minister. Margie was an Associate member of the Sisters of the Presentation, and the San Francisco Volunteer Presentation Center of Los Gatos.

She was preceded by her oldest son; Kenneth “Buckshot” Jones in 1969.

Margie is survived by her children; Judy Bunch and her husband Terry, Michael Jones, and Patty Thomas and her husband Keith. She leaves behind her grandchildren; Cassie Glazebrook and her husband Blake, Katy Jones, Dillon Jones, and Evan Thomas. Her Great Grandchildren: Owen, Eli and Ava Glazebrook.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

Recitation of the Holy Rosary followed by a Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, Rosary to start at 9:30 a.m., Mass to start at 10:00 a.m. St. Joachim Catholic Church, 401 N. 5th Street, Madera, CA 93637

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Madera, CA
