Marilyn L. Roberts

It is with great sadness that the family of Marilyn L. Roberts announces her passing after battling cancer, on June 20th, 2019, at the age of 80. Marilyn was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 15th, 1939. Her family moved to Madera in 1949 where she attended Pershing and Madera High School. Marilyn worked as a banker for 25 years, first at Crocker Bank, then at Wells Fargo. She was an avid reader, writer, and pet lover. She spent her retirement watching plays in San Francisco, as well as being a care giver to others.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Joseph and Ola Roberts, and her twin sisters, Ola Hall and Nola Allen. She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Bob Roberts, her nieces and nephew, Debbie Zamora, Jackie Dover, and Bob Hall, and her great and great-great nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
