Marilyn Mae “MiMi” Phillmore, passed way suddenly, early Wednesday morning, November 6, 2019 at Madera Community Hospital. She was born December 18, 1939 in Compton California to Horace and Evelyn Burrow. Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister Judith, brother Bill, and both of her parents.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Richard Phillmore, daughter Leslie Holder, step-children Robert Phillmore and Robin Gomez, grandchildren Callie Madden, Olivia and Alessandro Gomez and 1 great grandchild Maverick Madden.
After graduating high school, Marilyn went to school to become an X-Ray technician which she did for roughly 40 years Retiring from Urology Associates in Fresno where she worked with Dr. Irwin Barg.. Marilyn has been a resident of Madera for 59 years. She married the love of her life, Richard “Phil” on December 22, 1977, and they had a wonderful life together. Marilyn was known for her contagious laugh and love for cooking (and she was amazing at it!) She will be deeply missed.
There will be a Private Celebration of Life for her close friends and family.
