Mary Hernandez, 94, of Madera, Ca. passed away on March 24 2021.

Mary was born in Monrovia CA on Nov 12 1926. The Romero Family moved to the Central Valley in the late 30"s and found work in Firebaugh. Mary was a very hard worker and at the age of 20 she acquired a job in Madera as a Telephone operator for Pacific Bell. She was also one of the first Latin American women to do this type of work in Madera.

At 21 years old Mary met Manuel Hernandez, a Handsome WW2 Veteran who knew at first sight he was going to marry her. They were married for 55 years and are together again in Heaven as we truly choose to believe.

Mary is survived by her 2 children Steve and Fred (R.I.P) as well as brothers and sisters (Phillip (R.I.P) Pat Jessie Millie and Charlotte .She was preceded in passing by her loving husband Manuel who passed away in Sept ,2009.She will never be forgotten as long as we live. God bless you Mom we will always Love you.

Visitation with Rosary will be held on, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Jay Chapel, Madera, California

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on, Thursday, April 8, 2021 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, California
