Maria "Mama Luz" Garnica Moralez

Maria Garnica Moralez, resident of Madera, CA for 45 years, passed away on February 15, 2020 at the age of 76. She was born May 12, 1943 to Guadalupe and Mercedes Rosales Garnica in Mexico.

Maria was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Maria was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers: Serafin Garnica Rosales, Faustino Garnica, Isidro Garnica; and sister Rosa Garnica.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Marcos Morales; two daughters: Sylvia Garnica and her husband Eliseo Vasquez, Celia Garnica and her husband Javier Lemus; two brothers: Adan Garnica, Guadalupe Garnica; two sisters: Eva Garnica, Soledad Garnica; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 2:00 – 7:00 PM at Jay Chapel, with the Recitation of the Rosary following at 7:00 PM. also at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, with Graveside Services following at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
