Maria also known as (Polla), age 40, passed away June 27, 2021 from health complications at Madera Community Hospital in Madera California.

Maria is survived by her mother, five siblings, aunt's, uncles and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Mario, grandmother Zoila, and grandfather Gilberto.
Maria Alejandra Garcia was born March 6, 1981 in Guatemala. In 1992, she immigrated to the United States, where she eventually made her life and grew up in the Central Valley.
Her mother, Maria Adelina Alfaro and father Mario Alejandro Garcia, had a total of six children. Maria was the fifth oldest out of six siblings. Her siblings in order of age are Erika, Aaron, Angelina, Albert and Alvin.

Maria went to elementary and middle School in Los Baños California. She graduated from Los Baños high school in 1998. In high school she was part of the soccer team and track team.
In 1999-2000, she moved to the City of Madera, where she created many fond memories and made many new friends. She lived the rest of her adult life in Madera.

Maria was part of the Madera women's soccer league and part of the Indoor soccer league from 2010 to2017. Maria worked at Bonanza Auto sales as a receptionist for about a decade. Maria also attended Madera Community College for three years studying Criminology.

Maria loved spending time with family. She always had a bright, loving, caring energy about her. She was a very outgoing person and touched the hearts of many people in the community. In every family gathering, she was always a joy to be around, and loved joking with family members. She loved taking pictures and made sure everyone had a photo opportunity with her. She loved singing karaoke, and was always one of the first ones on the dance floor. Maria was a fighter, straight forward and protected who and what she loved.

Her whole family loved her and cared deeply about her. She was a great daughter, sister, aunt, nina and friend.

She will always be loved and missed.
