Margie Ann Shillings, age 91, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017, in Madera, California.  She was born May 8, 1926, in Hominy, Oklahoma, the daughter of Samuel Hugo and Hattie McCoy Owen. 

Margie came to Madera County when she was ten years old, where she grew up and attended school in Madera. Over the years Margie, worked for the Oberti Olive cannery.  She was a longtime member of the Madera County Farm Bureau.

Some of Margie’s favorite pastimes were spending time with family and friends.  You were never a stranger to Margie; she always had a pot of coffee on for company.

She is survived by three children; Linda (Lloyd) Medlock, Diane (Mike) Drake and Henry (Pat) Shillings, her six grand and eight great-grandchildren.  Margie also leaves behind her brother, George Owen.

Graveside services will be Friday, December 15, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at Arber Vitae Cemetery, Madera, California.
