Margarita Torres

Margarita Torres, 90, a native of Mexico and a resident of Madera 50 years passed away April 18, 2022. She was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church and was a homemaker for 70 years.

Margarita is survived by her husband of 70 years Calletano Torres of Madera, and her 9 children, Christina Huerta of Madera, Jose Torres of Madera, Francisco Torres of Pleasant Hill, CA, Marta Diaz of Stockton, CA, Maria Jacoba of Madera, Maria Martinez of Chowchilla, CA, Calletano Torres of Madera, Emilio Torres of Madera, Hugo Torres of Frederick, Maryland.

She leaves behind her sister, Elvira Torres of MX, along with 24 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Jay Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 9:30 AM at St. Joachim with Burial to follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
