Margarita B Sanchez

Margarita B. Sanchez, age 90, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones, on Monday, April 12, 2021. She is the widow of Cristobal L. Sanchez and is survived by eight children; Herminio Sanchez of Madera, Maria Isabel Rodriguez of Mexico, Cristobal Sanchez of San Bernardino, Margarita Barajas of Madera, Maria Guadalupe Zamora of Madera, Patricia Espinoza of Madera, Martin Sanchez of Clovis, and Manuel Sanchez of Madera. Son Jaime B. Sanchez passed on February 26, 2019. Margarita is also survived by 4 son-in-laws, 2 daughter-in-laws, 31 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. 

Margarita was born to Luis Barriga and Josefa Belmontes in Chavinda Michoacán Mexico. She moved permanently to the United States in 1969 and has since been a resident of Madera. 

Margarita was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent the last 40 years of her life as a homemaker. She loved to cook and enjoyed watering her yard and her plants. Margarita always looked forward to celebrating the holidays with the family.  She was the happiest when surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great children. Margarita was greatly loved and will be truly missed. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, Rosary, 12:30 p.m. Mass, 1:00 p.m. at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, CA

Followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Madera, CA

Oh Dios Mio, eres mi único consuelo en este momento de mucho dolor.
Madre querida lloramos tu ausencia, tu partida, tu perdida.
Dejas un gran vacío en nuestro corazón y siento que mi mundo se termina.

Oh Señor te pido en nombre de todos nosotros, perdona sus pecados y permite su entrada en el Reino de todos los Santos.
Dios Todopoderoso y eterno podemos en tus manos a nuestra Madre Amada.
Fuiste tu quien la llamo para ahora estar a tu lado.
Concédele el descanso eterno, que nosotros honraremos su nombre aquí en la tierra.
