Mr Manuel J. Martinez Sr.

Manuel J. Martinez Sr., age 47, of Fresno, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Manuel was born to Ernest Martinez and Margaret Jimenez Martinez in Madera, California where he grew up and attended Madera High School. He later married Monica Lopez and moved to Fresno, California where he has lived for 28 years. He enjoyed building low rider bikes, car shows, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.

Manuel was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Margaret Martinez, his brothers Ernest, David, Benny, Leo, Ricardo and Robert as well as by two grandchildren, Matthew and Mariah.

Manuel is survived by his wife of 27 years Monica, by his sons, Manuel, Moses, Michael, Marcos, and Marcelino Martinez all of Fresno, He is survived by 3 brothers , Andrew Martinez, Richard Martinez, Edward Martinez, and by 7 sisters, Erlinda Henderson, Gloria Caballero, Norma Martinez, Margaret Rodriguez, Dolores Martinez, Yvonne Santos, and Debbie Martinez. He is the grandfather of Malaki, Marcio, Monique, Mya,Manuel, and Melanie. Also surviving Manuel are numerous nieces and nephews, and his God-daughter Alexia Sanchez.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 11 AM at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA.
