Lupe Orta Yepiz

Lupe Yepiz, age 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in Clovis, Ca. Lupe was born on January 26, 1926 to Jesus and Maria Orta in Los Angeles, Ca. Lupe was raised in the Madera and Fresno area, where she was a member of St. Joachim catholic Church in Madera for many years before becoming a member of St. Anthony Claret in Fresno. Lupe was also a member of Sociedad Edad De Oro. Lupe loved to dance and she also enjoyed traveling along the west coast and gambling in Tahoe and Reno.

Lupe is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Simon R. Yepiz, her three brothers Manuel Orta, Joe Orta and Jess Orta, and her four sisters Maggie Zamora, Grace Cota, Socorro Salas and Cuca Orta.

Lupe is survived by her daughter Isabel “Bella” Saldivar of Fresno and her three grandchildren Lisa Saldivar of Fresno, Robert Saldivar of Fresno, and Richard and his wife Kristin Saldivar of Fresno.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 12:00 PM at St. Anthony Claret in Fresno. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 12:30 PM at St. Anthony Claret in Fresno.

Internment immediately following at Belmont Memorial Park in Fresno
