Lupe Correa Gonzales

Lupe Correa Gonzales passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the age of 81. Lupe was born in Madera, lived in Union City, California for many years, and for the last 22 years, she has been a resident of Madera. She was a great homemaker and a fabulous cook. Lupe started working at New Haven Unified School District, assisting elementary school children. Later in life Lupe, decided to go back to school and earned her Business Degree. She worked as an Assistant Technician Writer at General Electric Co. until her retirement.

Lupe was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Herminia Correa, her brothers, Vincent Correa and Fernando Correa, her sisters, Esther Abundis, Rosa Abina and Betty Torres.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Frank Gonzales of Madera, her three daughters, Margo Sanchez, Rosemary Aguilar and Kelly Stewart, and one brother, Tom Correa. Lupe also leaves behind six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Recitation of the Rosary will be celebrated on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 10:15 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. also at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, CA

Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Madera, CA
