Lorena Delangelde Alvarado

Lorena Del Angel De Alvarado passed away on, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in Madera, California at the age of 49. Lorena was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico on August 8, 1968 to Raul and Tomasa Delangelde. She was a resident of Huston, Texas for many years and the last 14 years a resident of Madera. Lorena loved to cook and be a stay at home mom and wife. She always thought of others before herself. She was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera.

Lorena leaves behind her husband of 23 years, Jose E. Alvarado, her son, Kenneth Alvarado, her daughter, Lorena Stephany Alvarado, two brothers, Andres Del Angel Torres and Ricardo Del Angel Torres, her two sisters, Maria Del Carmen Del Angel Torres and Silvia Del Angel Torres.

Visitation will be held at Jay Chapel on, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. followed by a Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. also at Jay Chapel.

Mass of Christian will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, CA.

She left us midafternoon,
When softly came the rain.
And since she never said good-bye,
it’s hard to think she’s gone.

God saw her getting tired,
and a cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around her
And whispered, “Come To Me.”

With tearful eyes we watched her suffer
and saw her slowly fade away.
Although we loved her dearly,
we could not make her stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

We love you, until we meet again
on that beautiful shore you loved.
